General Event Policies
Menu
Lucca Ristorante’s menus are wholly comprised of fresh meat, seafood, produce, and the highest quality imported products. In order to maintain our high standards, some menu items may change according to the season and availability.
Guests with special dietary needs (vegan/vegetarian, kosher, gluten, etc) are always welcome. With advanced notification, our Chef can procure special menu items to please all of your guests.
All menus and details for your event should be completed at least one week prior to your reservation date. All final counts must be given at least 4 days prior to your event (or the date stated in drafted contract). All private events require a minimum spend based on the season.
When your menu is created, our service staff will take individual guest orders from the pre-selected menus on the day/night of your event.
Pre-order Discount
Lucca will extend a 10% food discount to any package if your guests pre-order their menu selections. You must provide your final count and menu selections a minimum 72 hours prior to your event to receive the discount. Changes to pre-ordered menu selections will not be accepted on the day of your event. If changes occur within 12 hours of your event the discount will no longer apply.
Host/Open Bar
Open (host paid) bar is charged upon a consumption basis only. There are no charges or fees for bartenders, mixers, or sodas. Our standard open bar consists of well and premium brand liquors, Italian/Domestic wines by the glass and bottled beers.
Cash Bar
Cash bars – guests are responsible for their own charges – are also available
Wine List
Fine wine has grown to be a necessary component of any fine meal. Lucca Ristorante features an extensive wine list. Our Bar Manager can assist you in selecting the perfect wine to complement your menu.
Contract and Payment
A cancellation fee will be agreed upon, and a Credit Card Authorization Form will be needed prior to you event. The credit card information supplied will only be used for cancellation purposes, unless otherwise specified. . Final payment is due on the day of your function.
Tax Exempt Organizations
If your organization is exempt from PA sales tax on all food purchases, a copy of your Tax Exempt Federal Identification Form must be supplied prior to your event.
Dining Rooms
Lucca Ristorante is available for private parties in one of our dining rooms and/or covered outdoor patio, for partial or complete occupancy of the restaurant.

Covered Outdoor Patio (during summer months)

Taxes and Service Charges
A gratuity of 20% will be added to all food and beverage charges.
A 7% Pennsylvania and Allegheny County sales tax will be added to all taxable food items. If your organization is exempt from sales tax, tax exemption certification must be submitted prior to your event.
A 7% Allegheny County Alcohol Tax will be added to all alcoholic beverages, including mixed drinks, wine and beer.
Other service charges may apply when applicable (ex. cake cutting, corkage fee).
